My Summer With HPE

Interning at the "Birthplace of Silicon Valley".

In June, I began my journey as a Systems Software Engineer Intern at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. While working in HPE’s 3PAR PMO, I had the opportunity to grow not only in my technical skills, but in also in my communication and teamwork skills. Being a part of a program management team as an engineering intern provided me with insight into both technical implementation strategies and managerial concepts such as people management and organization. I gained invaluable experience in working in an agile team where I had the chance to contribute to impactful projects and to learn from creative, knowledgeable engineers.

In addition, I had the opportunity to share my work at the company's Intern Project Fair. I was able to showcase my projects to people in both technical and non-technical roles, while also learning about the amazing work my fellow interns had accomplished. Being a part of HPE’s intern program also afforded me the exclusive opportunity to visit the Birthplace of Silicon Valley, the HP Garage, where HP’s first product, the HP200A audio oscillator, was made.
